Norman Bryden writes, “In the image E07-01717 of Mars many formations look like pine trees on a snow covered hillside found on Earth. The Mars Global Surveyor image is a section from a larger image that can be downloaded from the links below. The full image has many formations similar to living trees and/or other forms of vegetation. Some varied shapes in and around the trees in the section below and on the larger full image look like roads or paths and other strange objects at 74.41°S 152.24°W.
