Mazlan Othman, a Malaysian astrophysicist, is set to be tasked with co-ordinating humanity’s response if and when extraterrestrials make contact. She will set out the details of her proposed new role at a Royal Society conference in Buckinghamshire next week. The 58-year-old is expected to tell delegates that the proposal has been prompted by the recent discovery of hundreds of planets orbiting other starts, which is thought to make the discovery of extraterrestrial life more probable than ever before.

Mrs Othman is currently head of the UN’s little known Office for Outer Space Affairs (Unoosa).

Below is a list of participants with this UNOOSA group, what their roles are and where they are from. These will be the folks setting up who speaks, what they will say to the aliens etc. I think this should be open to the public. Perhaps we should be involved somehow. Any ideas?

SETI in Lafayette, USA, astronomers have been encountering short-lived signals and because of their uniqueness in nature they have been overlooked for some time, but now after further study they have began to look at these unique signals and have considered that they may be Alien in nature and in origins.

Dominic Benford and James Benford of Microwave Sciences say that the signal could very well be from a very highly advanced civilization sent through space, driven by a massive power signal in the 190,000 terawatt range.
The research behind this discovery has looked at the possibility that it could be a Pulsar star.

But their conclusion and findings suggest that the signal is not of natural sources, but possibly intelligent in nature.

This incredible find, if proven could be what everyone has been waiting for in the search for extraterrestrial life. The answer to the question: Are we alone in the universe?

This could have been the ET phone ringing for some time now, and we just missed the call. Until now.

ATLANTIC CITY – Ken Pfeifer writes, “I investigate UFO sightings for.  I decided to take my grandson to the practice session of the Air Force Thunderbirds at Atlantic City’s Boardwalk.

The main show is on Wednesday on the beach. I took about 20 pictures with my digital camera and i caught an image in one of the photos.  After enlarging the picture to the max amount without distortion, the object is not a bird or a plane. It is a very clear image of some kind of unidentified flying object.  There is another strange object on a few of the other pictures but it may be lens flair or something within the camera but i will check it out with a professional photo technician. Of course i did not see the object when i was taking the pictures. After downloading the pictures to my lap top is when i made the discovery. Thanks to Ken Pfeifer MUFON in NJ
