Author: Strange lights spotted over Evans Head
at the weekend have been listed as a possible UFO sighting according to Digby Hildreth. The sighting is one of ‘a constant stream’ of such events recorded as ‘worthwhile’ by UFO Research Queensland, which monitors the skies from New Guinea to northern New South Wales. There have been a high incidence of sightings in the area. Tino Pezzimenti, said the Evans Head sighting occurred when two men were walking back from the pub on Saturday night.
One of the men, who swore he was completely sober, had reported seeing two ‘moon-like objects’ in the sky. “They were of the same size and brightness as the crescent Moon, but vertical,” Mr Pezzimenti said. “A third appeared and they all started moving erratically, zigzagging in the air. “It was at 10.30 PM, so it could not have been Venus,” he said.
“It’s something we cannot explain, but many UFOs have been reported as behaving in this way – erratically, and making sudden right-angled turns without slowing down.”

WAMURAN –This photo was taken on the Dagular Highway between Woodford and closer to Wamuran on June 16, 2009, at 3:24 PM. The photographer could not switch off auto focus of an object flying around 1500 feet up moving like a survey helicopter. It made no sound and had no tail, rotating blades, or wings.

1-14-11 KNOXVILLE TENNESSEE
I had just returned home from a little late night shopping at Wal-Mart around 1:30 AM. I was getting settled in and ready for bed, and had just come out of the bathroom from brushing my teeth.
As I walked from the bathroom down the stairs to my bedroom, I heard this extremely loud buzzing/humming, almost grinding sound coming from outside that was so loud the windows of my house were rattling.
Curious as to what it was and expecting to open the door to see a helicopter flying too low or a low flying jet passing over, I opened the door to look outside, only to see something I couldn’t have ever imagined in my wildest dreams.
Peering out from the front door of my house facing south, directly in front of my point of view, there was a large (guesstimating 150 ft. in diameter) metallic, solid black sphere hovering about 150 yards from where I was standing and maybe 150 – 200 feet in the air.
Directly in the dead center of the sphere was a blue-white sort of laser-like beam spread out from the craft, and rotating back and forth and up and down very slowly as if it was searching for something, and as I was standing there this beam passed directly over me.
I didn’t feel any heat, or pain from it, I was only slightly blinded for a split second… but this was well after I’d gotten a good solid 20 – 30 second view of the object.
The sound emanating from this object was this someone pressing down on an object too hard with a grinder, but consistent and continuous, and again, loud enough that the sound was rattling my 2 story house’s storm windows.
I’m shocked it didn’t wake up the whole neighborhood.
After watching for a good 20 – 30 seconds, I wanted to document it somehow, so I ran into the house to grab my iPhone with the hopes that the object was low and close enough that the resolution on my phone wouldn’t have trouble capturing the object, as it usually does anything from a distance at night.
Here’s where things get even weirder. The entire time I was in the house to grab my phone was all of 15 seconds. Mind you, when I came outside at first the object was not moving, just hovering.
Within that span of 15 seconds I was inside, I came back outside to find that the object was gone from its original spot, but I could still clearly hear it. Thinking that it had to be nearby, I looked around, and then ran (as fast as I could in house shoes) around to the back of the house to find that the object had traveled at least 2 miles away, and all I could see was the faint remnant of the beam, still moving as if it was searching or scanning for something, before the object disappeared behind the ridge line.
I didn’t bother trying to film, I knew it was too far away for me to have any chance of capturing. Here’s where it gets even more odd. As I’m standing watching it disappear behind the ridge line, I hear another loud sound of a craft, only this one is familiar. I turn around to see 3 black helicopters in formation, flying very low, and hauling ass, with only their spotlights on facing directly in front of them.
They followed the exact same direction I saw the craft travel. Now, I have witnessed strange lights I couldn’t explain in the sky before, I have even had one UFO experience in particular that altered my whole perception of how a viewed physics, reality, religion, and what I perceived as possible and impossible, but this… this was different.
With all of those other sightings I got a sense of excitement, wonder, and even at times warmth and comfort. What I felt when I saw this object was an almost sickening sense of fear, discomfort, and dread.
With all the other sightings I WANTED to see it again, I was excited to have seen them. This thing… I wished I hadn’t seen it, and it had me so uneasy I had a lot of trouble NOT picturing it when I was trying to sleep.
Everytime I got the image in my head, and remembered that sound it made, it sent chills up my spine.
I’m asking the UFO community, anyone who reads this who has seen this object whether in person or in some kind of video they’ve seen to share their experience with me, as I’m hoping to find some answers as to why or even what this thing could have been.

UFO WITNESSES BY HUSBAND AND WIFE OVER CUMMINGS GEORGIA.
10-23-10 CUMMINGS GEORGIA
On Saturday, October 23, 2010, my wife and I were traveling in our SUV heading down 141W (Peachtree Parkway) at approximately 11:25am EST. We were approximately 3 miles from our destination when my wife, who was sitting in the front passenger seat stated she sees something in the sky that she can’t identify. I asked her to describe it and she really couldn’t, just that’s she’s never seen anything like it. I then peer out the window for a glance and notice the object. I take a double and then triple-take. It was silver in color. At times it looked cigar shaped but the more we looked at it, it appeared more of a disk. It’s hard to tell exactly how high in the sky it was but I would say it was about the same altitude as a low flying plane. The object was not really moving, it appeared stationary. It was not an airplane, nor helicopter, bi-plane, weather-balloon, flare or anything else of the sort. We were on our way to get our daughter’s hair cut for the first time, so we brought our digital camera. My wife got it out quickly and took the first snapshot. The camera focused on her window so it came out blurry. The next time I told her to zoom in as far as she could go and try to take another picture. She did, and the attached picture is the result. My wife looked at the picture she just took and by the time she looked back up at the object (less than 10 seconds had transpired) was completely out of site. We spent the next couple minutes looking out the windows as we were driving to see if we could again spot it but to no avail. It was definitely gone.
About 25 minutes go by and we are finished getting our daughter’s hair cut. We drive back on 141 although in the opposite direction. As we neared the location where we originally sited the object, we began to look for it again. Amazingly, we spot it, in the same general vicinity, although this time it’s traveling in the opposite direction and moving at a slow but steady speed. I immediately find a parking lot to pull into; it was a church. As I’m about to park the car, the object is in full site, again, moving relatively slow. I take an additional 10 seconds to turn the car 180 degrees into a parking spot. By the time my wife and I get out of the car, the object is now nearly out of sight in the far horizon. I couldn’t even spot it anymore and it was my wife (with her better far sight) that spotted it way off in the distance for a couple seconds before it again disappeared.
In sum, my wife is a UFO skeptic. I was amazed that she was so into this object and she only would have been if it was an extreme anomaly. The shape and variable speeds of the object is most perplexing. To note, as we got back on 141 to drive home, we noticed a black helicopter fly directly overhead at a few hundred feet. When you look at the picture, you will notice a phone/electrical line running across. Directly below is the object. When zooming in, you will immediately notice black bands/spots towards either end. I forwarded the picture to my father late last night, who is an engineer and frequently has contracts with NASA and other aeronautical associations, and he too is states that it is unlike anything he’s ever seen. 8-23-2010 DUDLEY WEST MIDLANDS ENGLAND
On the night of the 23rd, I took by dogs out back, near the garden and I noticed something very strange coming from the West. The time was 10:50pm. I was lucky to have my camcorder with me, so I took a video of the strange object. The object seemed to travel at a slow pace, aproximately 50 miles per hour and it was at an altitude of around 120 meters.
The weather was clear that night and my dogs did not make a fuss or notice the object. This was definately not an airplane, helicopter or lanten of any kind. There was a slight wind but it was going into the opposite direction of the object, so this would rules out a chinese lantern or balloon object. Earlier that night, I also saw a round ball that was flame red and it was traveling at incredible speed. I did not have my camcorder when this object went over. I have had a few sightings over the years but this one I was lucky to capture on my camcorder.
