7-14-10  RIO DE JANEIRO BRAZIL

One of our readers, Mr. Henrique Costa, has forwarded two images of interest.

Henrique did not take the photographs, but a colleague of his forwarded them to him.

The man who took the photographs, three in total, was a passenger on a plane. He was taking a vacation trip, and flying near Brazil’s capital city of Rio de Janeiro.

Not a great deal of information was sent. This is what we know at this time.

Several passengers saw the object in question, which was first described as a ball of light, shaped similar to a football. Several passengers shouted in fear as they felt the plane was too close to the unknown object, and there was a possibility of a collision.

According to passenger statements, the unknown, flying object maneuvered into the clouds, but continued to follow the aircraft for about two minutes.

According to the camera information, the photographs were taken at 3:40 PM, July 14, 2010. The camera used was a Nokia, 3120 Classic.

12-19-07 LASTRO BRAZIL

I live in Natal, the capital city of the state of Rio Grande do Norte in northeast Brazil. I am 44 years old and my work involves historical research. On December, 19, 2007 I was working in the city of Lastro, in the neighboring state.
At around noon, I took pictures of some of the citys old buildings with the camera facing north-northeast. I took a series of three photos and did not realize anything abnormal at the time regarding sight or sound. When I returned home and uploaded the images to my computer, I then noticed the light in the first picture. Would like to mention that when I took these photos, here were some people on the street and next to me, but none noticed anything strange. The camera I used was a MEPGMOVIE VX DSC-P32. On this trip, I took over 600 photos with the same camera, but there was only the only photo with the strange light.
Firstly, I sent this material to a Brazilian UFO enthusiast named Gevaerd in January of 2008 searching for possible explanations as to whether the image might be a natural phenomenon, something to do with the camera or indeed an UFO, but I never received any reply.
I would like to ask your opinion on what it might be that was captured on the photograph.

6-19-10 BRIGHHAM CITY { Golden Spike National Monument }

We were visiting the Golden Spike National Monument in Utah. I took many photographs while at the Monument. After we returned home I was going throught the images and noticed that there was something strange in the image I attached. I checked my camera and lenses to see if it may have been on my equipment but didn’t fine any dust or dirt on the camera or lense.

I was ask by a friend to enlarge the object in the image, which I did and pasted it back in the image for comparison.

I have no idea what it is, thought it was cool when I noticed it.

NOTE: Utah is home of the new AREA 52 { Dugway Proving Grounds }. Many strange things have been spotted in the state of Utah.

Richard Buchli D.V.M writes, “THIS IS THE MOST EXCITING THING I HAVE EVER FOUND! It is located on NASA IMAGE and Jaxa Selene images at 20 51 42 06N   19 20 41 57E.” The object is thought to be 500 feet long and appears to have windows and wings.

Editor’s Note: The drawing  was made by Bill McDonald from sketches by Cosmonauts. Cosmonaut Alexandr Baladin stated that “flying saucers” have come into close proximity to the MIR space station as well as the Baikonur Cosmodrom.  He added there is sufficient evidence to warrant a scientific study of the phenomenon, and that it is time that world governments officially acknowledge the UFO phenomenon’s existence. Notice the drawing is similar to objects seen on the moon.
