He was also instrumental in the idea of training of astronauts underwater in order to better prepare them for the intricate space walks and duties of maintenance while in space. Edgar Dean Mitchell, D.Sc. is an American pilot, engineer, and astronaut. As the lunar module pilot of Apollo 14, he spent nine hours working on the lunar surface in the Fra Mauro Highlands region, making him the sixth person to walk on the Moon.

Dateline NBC conducted an interview with Mitchell on April 19, 1996, during which he discussed meeting with officials from three countries who claimed to have had personal encounters with extraterrestrials. He offered his opinion that the evidence for such “alien” contact was “very strong” and “classified” by governments, who were covering up visitations and the existence of alien beings’ bodies in places such as Roswell, New Mexico. He further claimed that UFOs had provided “sonic engineering secrets” that were helpful to the U.S. government. Mitchell’s book, The Way of the Explorer” discusses his journey into mysticism and space.

Leroy Gordon Cooper, Jr., also known as Gordo Cooper, (March 6, 1927 – October 4, 2004) was an engineer and American astronaut. Cooper was one of the seven original astronauts in Project Mercury, the first manned space effort by the United States. He was the first American to sleep in orbit,had flown the longest spaceflight of the Mercury project,and was the last American to be launched alone into Earth orbit and conduct an entire solo orbital mission. Cooper claimed to have seen his first UFO while flying over West Germany in 1951, although he denied reports he had seen a UFO during his Mercury flight.

In 1957, when Cooper was 30 and a captain, he was assigned to Fighter Section of the Experimental Flight Test Engineering Division at Edwards Air Force Base in California. He acted as a test pilot and project manager.

On May 3 of that year, he had a crew setting up an Askania-cinetheodolite precision landing system on a dry lake bed. This cinetheodolite system would take pictures at one frame per second as an aircraft landed. The crew consisted of James Bittick and Jack Gettys who began work at the site just before 0800, using both still and motion picture cameras. According to his accounts, later that morning they returned to report to Cooper that they saw a “strange-looking saucer” like aircraft that did not make a sound either on landing or take off.

According to his accounts, Cooper realized that these men, who on a regular basis have seen experimental aircraft flying and landing around them as part of their job of filming those aircraft, were clearly worked up and unnerved. They explained how the saucer hovered over them, landed 50 yards away from them using three extended landing gears and then took off as they approached for a closer look. Being photographers with cameras in hand, they of course shot images with 35mm and 4-by-5 still cameras as well as motion film. There was a special Pentagon number to call to report incidents like this.

He called and it immediately went up the chain of command until he was instructed by a general to have the film developed (but to make no prints of it) and send it right away in a locked courier pouch. As he hadn’t been instructed to not look at the negatives before sending them, he did. He said the quality of the photography was excellent as would be expected from the experienced photographers who took them.

What he saw was exactly what they had described to him. He did not see the movie film before everything was sent away. He expected that there would be a follow up investigation since an aircraft of unknown origin had landed in a highly classified military installation, but nothing was ever said of the incident again. He was never able to track down what happened to those photos. He assumed that they ended up going to the Air Force’s official UFO investigation, Project Blue Book, which was based at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.

He held claim until his death that the government is indeed covering up information about UFOs. He gives the example of President Harry Truman who said on April 4, 1950, “I can assure you that flying saucers, given that they exist, are not constructed by any power on Earth.” He also pointed out that there were hundreds of reports made by his fellow pilots, many coming from military jet pilots sent to respond to radar or visual sightings from the ground. He was quite convinced till the day he died that he had seen UFOs and was a strong advocate to make the government come clean with what it knew.

In his memoirs Cooper wrote he had seen other unexplained aircraft several times during his career and also said hundreds of similar reports had been made, often by military jet pilots responding to radar or visual sightings from the ground. He further claimed these sightings had been “swept under the rug” by the US government.Throughout his later life Cooper expressed repeatedly in interviews he had seen extra-terrestrial crafts and described his recollections.

Fortieth Anniversary of Apollo 11 Moon flight Recently

There are several interesting stories that have surfaced about UFOs and the Moon Flights. Astronaut Buzz Aldrin apparently feels it was not a UFO they saw on the way to the moon and the Science Channel gave or more exciting version than what really happened. It is true that the Apollo 11 crew spotted an unidentified object moving with the spacecraft as they approached the Moon. They contacted mission control to confirm this mystery object was not Apollo 11’s large rocket upper stage, which was about 6,000 miles away. The astronauts concluded that they were seeing one of the small panels that had linked the spacecraft to the upper stage. The ejected panels could continue moving relatively close to the Apollo spacecraft. Aldrin now feels his remarks were taken out of context to imply they had seen a UFO and make the program more exciting. His entire explanation about identifying the panels was cut from the broadcast interview, giving the impression that the Apollo 11 crew had seen a UFO. The Science Channel, nor the astronauts can only speculate on what was being witnessed. The TV program suggests—without explicitly lying—that Aldrin and his crewmates saw an alien spacecraft. New data indicates the unmanned Soviet Luna 15 spacecraft was trying was trying to collect samples of lunar soil and rock and then return to Earth before the US mission. Newly released recordings from Jodrell’s Lovell radio telescope, which were hidden in archives until researchers found them, show the Russian craft orbited the Mocrash landed onto its surface at 15:50 on July 21, 1969.

In 1979 Maurice Chatelain, former chief of NASA Communications Systems confirmed that Astronaut Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin had indeed reported seeing two UFOs on the rim of a crater. Chatelain believes that some UFOs may come from our own solar system – specifically Titan.

He further claims “.all Apollo and Gemini flights were followed, both at a distance and sometimes also quite closely, by space vehicles of extraterrestrial origin – flying saucers, or UFOs, if you want to call them by that name. Every time it occurred, the astronauts informed Mission Control, who then ordered absolute silence.”

“Walter Schirra aboard Mercury 8 was the first astronaut to use the code name ‘Santa Claus’ to indicate the presence of flying saucers next to space capsules. However, his announcements were barely noticed by the general public. It was a little different when James Lovell on board the Apollo 8 command module came out from behind the moon and said for everybody to hear: ‘PLEASE BE INFORMED THAT THERE IS A SANTA CLAUS.’ Even though this happened on Christmas Day 1968, many people sensed a hidden meaning in those words.” The rumors persist. NASA may well be a civilian agency, but many of its programs are funded by the defense budget and most of the astronauts are subject to military security regulations and sign oaths not to reveal information on UFOs and alien life. Apart from the fact that the National Security Agency screens all films and probably radio communications as well. We have the statements by Otto Binder, Dr. Garry Henderson and Maurice Chatelain that the astronauts were under strict orders not to discuss their sightings. And Gordon Cooper has testified to a United Nations committee that one of the astronauts actually witnessed a UFO on the ground. If there is no secrecy, why has this sighting not been made public?
Lockheed Skunkworks engineer Don Phillips while we were at the Disclosure Project told us, “During the Apollo landing, Neil Armstrong says, “They’re here. They are right over there and look at the size of those ships. And, it is obvious they don’t like us being here”. When I was working with the Skunkworks with Kelly Johnson, we signed an agreement with the government to keep very quiet about this. “The encounter was common knowledge in NASA,” he revealed.

Nearly four decades after astronaut Neil Armstrong walked on the moon, the U.S. is about to return at a cost of $579-million to find the best site for Earth’s first off-world colony. The Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter is expected to produce detailed topographic maps of the moon, and glimpse inside craters at the poles where scientists hope to find frozen water. Using a second spacecraft — the Lunar Crater Observation and Sensing Satellite — NASA is planning to crash into the moon on October 9, 2009, with the spent second stage of the rocket as a to create and a 6-mile-high plume and a crater 66 feet wide by 13 feet deep to search for water. Assuming ET is on the moon, this may trigger a conflict with superior forces.

Also, Air Force Sgt. Karl Wolfe was told while at Langley Air Force Base enhanced imagery had clearly shown structures on the far side of the Moon. These structures were definitely not created by natural forces-they were made by intelligent beings who were apparently conducting mining operations.

To help solve this problem of what is the real truth the US Navy on January 25, 1994, the Deep Space Program Science Experiment (DSPSE) (better known as Clementine) was launched from Vandenberg Air Force Base, California, on a mission designed to test lightweight miniature sensors and advanced spacecraft components by exposing them, over a long period of time, to the difficult environment of outer space. In addition to testing the various sensors, Clementine was given the complex task of mapping the moon. The mission results were spectacular.
Between February 26 and April 22, 1994, Clementine was able to deliver more than 1.8 million digital images of the moon back to the Clementine ground network, including the NRL satellite ground-tracking station located in Maryland. Some of these images were in color and showed apparent structures and spacecraft shown above. These images were quickly accessible to the general public via the Internet and World Wide Web. When scientists reviewed the data from Clementine, they made a major scientific discovery: the possible existence of ice within some of the moon’s craters. The government to keep very quiet about this

I spoke with Don Phillips at the Disclosure Project when he told us, “These UFOs were huge and they would just come to a stop and do a 60 degree, 45 degree, 10 degree turn, and then immediately reverse this action”. During the Apollo landing, Neil Armstrong says, “They’re here. They are right over there and look at the size of those ships. And, it is obvious they don’t like us being here”.…When I was working with the Skunkworks with Kelly Johnson, we signed an agreement with the government to keep very quiet about this. Anti-gravitational research was going….We know that there were some captured craft from 1947 in Roswell, they were real. And, yes, we really did get some technology from them. And, yes, we really did put it to work….We knew each other from what we call unseen industry. We can term it black, deep black, or hidden.

The knowledge I have of these technologies came from the craft that were captured here. I didn’t see the craft, nor did I see the bodies, but I certainly know some of the people that did. There was no question that there are beings from outside the planet. Are these ET people hostile? Well, if they were hostile, with their weaponry they could have destroyed us a long time ago….We got these things that are handheld scanners that scan the body and determine what the condition is. We can also treat from the same scanner. I can tell you personally that we’ve been working on them. And we have ones that can diagnose and cure cancer. One of the purposes I had for founding my technology corporation in 1998, was to bring forth these technologies that that can clean the air and can help get rid of the toxins, and help get rid of the need for so much fossil fuel. Argentina Abnormal Alloy Found

MORENO — Argentina’s Diario Popular Newspaper of June 14, 2009, states that a minuscule portion of an alloy whose creation was “impossible to human technology” was collected by members of Codigo OVNI near the Roggero Reservoir, where UFOs are often reported. Codigo Ovni’s Jorge Marrón says: “We have official certification of material that is not of this planet.” Certification was made by a branch of Argentina’s Institute of Industrial Technology (INTI) stating the abnormal alloy particle was found on the surface (crop circles?) through the use of magnets.

Technicians with SEGEMAR, a dependency of the (INDI), reported that the ratio of iron and aluminum was highly unusual. Marrón says: “The sample reveals the presence of a high percentage of iron, combined with aluminum, in a ratio that cannot be achieved with conventional technology currently known on our planet. It is impossible for materials of this sort to be found in the Province of Buenos Aires. The National Academies Advisers to the Nation on Space Science

The National Academies members are some of the key scientists, engineers, and advisors to the nation. The Space Studies Board, in conjunction with the Aeronautics and Space Engineering Board, has established a committee to assess potential space and earth science mission concepts that could take advantage of the capabilities of the new Constellation system of launch vehicles and spacecraft that is being developed by NASA to replace the shuttle. The committee will first analyze mission concepts provided by NASA, and later mission concepts submitted in response to a Request for Information from the committee to the space and earth science communities.

Lunar Orbiter Heading to the Moon for new Colony

President George W. Bush’s 2004 “Vision for Space Exploration,” plan is to build a lunar colony and eventually use the moon as a jumping-off point to put astronauts on Mars.
