Frank Feschino’s book features an in-depth investigation into the mysterious
incident involving an F-86 Sabre Jet fighter plane that crashed in South
Glastonbury, Connecticut on August 5, 1952
,
amidst a UFO flap. A Westover AFB jet fell into
that town setting it ablaze and wreaking havoc.

In the Chapter “Westover and Washington,” of his book Feschino chronicles the very
controversial events of this crash from newly released USAF documents
and reveals the results of his research and onsite investigations.

The chronological detail of military events in Feschino’s book will turn a corner with any disbeliever.

The San Francisco Examiner. July 29 1952, “The Air Force revealed today that jet pilots have been placed on twenty-four-hour nationwide ‘alert’ against ‘flying saucers’ with orders to ‘shoot them down’ if they refuse to land.”
The Louisville Courier-Journal. July 30, 1952…
“Maj. Gen. Roger Ramey, deputy Chief of the Air Force Staff for Operations, told the news conference [July 29] that interceptor planes have raced aloft several hundred times as a result of reported sighting of unidentified objects. He said that was just standard procedure.”
