Strange lights spotted over Evans Head

at the weekend have been listed as a possible UFO sighting according to Digby Hildreth. The sighting is one of ‘a constant stream’ of such events recorded as ‘worthwhile’ by UFO Research Queensland, which monitors the skies from New Guinea to northern New South Wales. There have been a high incidence of sightings in the area. Tino Pezzimenti, said the Evans Head sighting occurred when two men were walking back from the pub on Saturday night.

One of the men, who swore he was completely sober, had reported seeing two ‘moon-like objects’ in the sky. “They were of the same size and brightness as the crescent Moon, but vertical,” Mr Pezzimenti said. “A third appeared and they all started moving erratically, zigzagging in the air. “It was at 10.30 PM, so it could not have been Venus,” he said.
“It’s something we cannot explain, but many UFOs have been reported as behaving in this way – erratically, and making sudden right-angled turns without slowing down.”

Australia has been something of a hotspot for UFO sightings in the past with 200 reported this year. http://www.northernstar.com.au/story/2010/04/06/ufos-spotted-over-evans-head-by-two-pub-patrons/

WAMURAN –This photo was taken on the Dagular Highway between Woodford and closer to Wamuran on June 16, 2009, at 3:24 PM. The photographer could not switch off auto focus of an object flying around 1500 feet up moving like a survey helicopter. It made no sound and had no tail, rotating blades, or wings.

It was moving at the speed of a survey helicopter straight south towards Brisbane. The Video was presented to the Brisbane UFO Society. The photo’s are on my Facebook page at [cms/tg/pid] Australia UFOs Spotted over Evans Head

11-26-10 OMAHA NEBRASKA

My girlfriend said ” get your camera and check this out “………..so I got my camera and went out on the front deck of our apartment and snapped one picture.  I did not think I got the shot so I took another.  I said “it’s a stealth bomber”.   It was a sunny day and no wind.  I am not a believer in ufo’s and  extraterrestial beings but the bible does not state god only made earth and mankind……….does it?

These pictures sat in my camera until today.  My friend and I were driving back from pacific junction and he asked “did you hear about the ufo sighting in benson “  I said “speaking of ufo’s, check out these pictures “.  So we did and called mufon in Nebraska.
You will also notice what seems to be a plane of sorts in both pictures…just ahead of this object….just noticed that today also.
Thank you for your time on this matter.

DATABASE OF POLICE UFO SIGHTINGS IN ENGLAND

A DATABASE of UFO sightings by police officers has clocked up more than 200 cases in five years.

Launched by Detective Constable Gary Heseltine, of the British Transport Police (BTP), the unofficial site has seen around 100 officers added each year to date.

Sightings in the News Shopper region include one in Farnborough and one in Gravesend.

In October 1993 PC Tony Francis was called to an address in Gravesend after reports of a UFO from a mother and her son.

The craft was described as changing its shape from that of a bell to an oval with protruding spikes.

According to the DC Heseltine, a seven-page report on the sighting was submitted to the Ministry of Defence, which gave no explanation for the UFO.

Back in April 1978, PC Alan Craggs was called to an address in Farnborough, following an alleged UFO sighting.

According to the site, PC Craggs described it as: “being 20-30 feet above him with wings like fins on a dolphin.”

The craft had allegedly been in the sky for close to an hour before the officer arrived.

PC Craggs is reported to have said: “I’ve been in the Air Force, I know what an aircraft looks like at night.”

The site lists a total of 43 new reports of UFOs seen by on-duty police officers across Britain in the past year, with the largest number of sightings taking place in West Yorkshire.

DC Heseltine, who works for the BTP in Leeds, said: “After studying the subject for over thirty years I am totally convinced that a small proportion of UFO sightings are genuine and represent an extraterrestrial presence on the earth.

“I urge any officer out there, whether serving or retired to contact me about their respective UFO experiences.

“Anyone wishing to have their identity witheld can do so safe in the knowledge that I will never release their details unless they specifically allow me to.”

GLOBAL NETWORK TO SCAN THE SKIES FOR UFO’S…

A meteor-monitoring network to be completed this year may provide more solid evidence to confirm or debunk UFO sighting claims. The city will establish six monitoring stations to observe flying objects that cross the sky, the first of their kind in the country. With 3 million yuan ($441,897.78) in government funding, the network will mainly be used to track falling stars, comets and meteors of a certain brightness, said Kou Wen, the Beijing Planetarium expert in charge of the project.

The station can observe and record almost anything that flies overhead, including meteor showers and UFOs, Kou said, providing a chance to supply more accurate documentation that can be used to verify or dismiss UFO witness reports. Beijing UFO Research Organization chief Zhou Xiaoqiang welcomed the new system. ”It’s often difficult to determine what the flying object is based solely on experience, when there’s only a picture or a witness’ recollection,” he said. Statistics collected from the stations could discover new meteor groups and also help scientists to locate meteorites, Kou said.

A meteor was witnessed falling to earth on the west side of Beijing in December last year, but scientists never recovered the meteorite. The six stations will be built in the Beijing Planetarium and Daxing, Huairou, Pinggu, Miyun and Yanqing. The stations will be run by computers only, with a dome that opens and closes automatically according to weather conditions, Kou said. Six cameras and an automatic control device will be installed inside. The equipment will operate at night only. Test operations at the stations are estimated to begin in a few month.
