8-30-10 CORK IRELAND

It was Monday Aug 30, 2010. 11.15pm when I saw it. I’m living in the Cork City, suburbs, Ireland. Beyond my house is fields, so pretty dark. It was a clear night. Stars visible. I popped out the back garden for a cigarette. My wife was watching TV inside. Then I saw this, I dont’ know what to call it – craft??! Ship? Appeared low, and came almost overhead. Flying from north east to south west. The whole thing lasted 3 seconds. I’m a graphic artist by trade, so I’ve taken a photo of the portion of sky and roughed up closely what the object looked like. Please NOTE: This IS NOT A PHOTOGRAPH OF THE OBJECT!!!. I couldn’t get the middle section right. The middle section looked… like, have you ever seen an oil slick in water? Or the rainbow colours when you blow those kids bubbles?

I’m sorry, I can’t give a better description, it looked like a transparent blur of slight colour. Just bizarre. The body was clearly black against the sky, though the sky “was” dark. And it had 2 rings of dim orange/white light on either end – which I could plainly see the sky through. Overall – it didn’t emit much light. And sounded exactly like someone exhaling slowly and gently. In fact I’m not sure it even did make a sound, but I thought I heard a breath. It could well have been my own. I am, however, 100% confident in what I “saw”. I spoke to my wife and parents and tried to figure it out – to no avail. I didn’t have any time for photgraphing, and if I was standing there with the camera on – it probably wouldn’t have occured to me. I was quite shaken. I’m an amateur backyard astronomer. I know my planets, stars, satellites & meteorites. I’ve seen a lot of odd things in the sky, all explainable – but not this. I was going to contact the local airport and ask if anything showed on radar, but to be honest – I feel silly discussing this with anyone. I know there’s life “out” there, the universe is beyond infinite. But to see something like this, so close – is pretty much life changing. I’ve spent the last few weeks searching ufo’s online, but I haven’t seen anything the same “shape” as what I saw. What I saw was almost “wrench” shaped. I’ve purchased a good lense and camera, and spend about 3 nights a week in my back garden, but I doubt I’ll ever see anything like this again.

Have a look at the attached graphic, it’s as close as I can recreate (bar the centre). I’d love to hear your thoughts on this and if anyone else has reported anything similar. This is my first time reporting anything – so forgive me if i’ve left any details out – just ask.

PS. Im not sure if this is of any relevance. But my father rang me the next day and say there was a large power outtage in my area about 30 minutes before this happened. Probably nothing to that really, but that’s all the info I can think of

10-13-10 GREEN OHIO

My son was sent home sick from school today so my whole family was just sitting together in the living room watching TV and we kept hearing large helicopters outside. We had a twin rotor military helicopter fly over our house at least seven times in an hour. We do live very close to CAK so I decided to go outside and start taking pictures. The helicopter flew over only once while I was out there and I took a video of it on my cell phone…that was the last time I saw it at 3:01 p.m. I took the photo with the unexplained object at 3:47 p.m.

“THERE WERE NO HELICOPTERS IN THE SKY AT THAT TIME. CHOPPERS ARE NOISY, MY HUSBAND AND I WOULD HAVE NOTICED HELICOPTER NOISE. IT WAS QUIET, ONLY THE TWO OF US TALKING TO EACH OTHER.”

As we were looking at the jets in the distance, Nick noted how they were moving across the sky faster than normal commercial jets, so I snapped a few pictures. At the time Nick and I were in the back yard alone. We heard no strange noise, we saw nothing out of the ordinary. It was only after we were looking at the pics on the camera that we saw the object. At first I thought it was dirt on the LCD screen so I went to the next pic and the spot disappeared. I went back to the last picture and the spot was back, so I put the memory card in my lap top and zoomed in. The dark object on the right of photo DSCF1956 is clearly not a bird or a plane or a helicopter. I honestly do not know what it is and I can’t figure it out, which is why I am making this MUFON report.

I also snapped some pictures of a normal helicopter flying over HOURS later, and it does not look at all like the object I captured that I can’t explain.

I don’t want to jump to a wild conclusion. I was admittedly out in my back yard purposely looking for something out of the ordinary. I honestly never expected to find it though. And maybe it really is just wishful thinking. I’m trying to be skeptical about this. I don’t know what it could be in the picture with the unidentified flying object. I didn’t even notice anything out of place when I took the picture, which is what totally boggles my mind.

KENS NOTE:  I have been saying for a long time that todays digital cameras have infra-red capabilities and the camera can see what our eyes cannot see.  We get many cases where the UFO was found in the photo but the witness did not see the object.

7-2-10 WEST HAMPTON AREA, LONG ISLAND–NEW YORK

First, a little background info on me — I’m a medium/paranormal investigator and so I am very sensitive to things occuring. It was about 9:20 – 9:25 pm EDT on Friday, 7/2/2010. I was working at my computer (with my back to the window). The blinds were up and I felt that feeling like someone was watching you, so I got up and went to close the blinds. As I did this, through the slats of the blinds, and coming in our direction (towards the house) was a bright red light.

Now it looked triangular to me initially but that is because I was working on the computer and my eyes were tired tonight; I had a little blurry/double-vision going on which made the line of lights into two sets of lines. I estimated this array of lights to be about 1,500 – 2,000 feet above ground level. There is a thin combination of stratus and some low cloud cover and this thing was sort of moving quietly through the cloud deck. (If it was way up in the cirros-stratus cloud layer, it would have to have been going very fast; therefore, I believe it was much lower.)
At first, I said to myself, “Oh, it’s probably a fireworks display.” (You know… when the rockets go up and then burst into all the sparklers, you get burning red embers coming down from the sky.) This was different however — it was tracking like a helicopter hovering in our direction. There was no sound of any prop or jet enging or chopper blades. Off in the distance I heard fireworks going off. But right above in our local sky, all was silent except for this thing as it headed in our direction. Dad was resting in the room and Mom was watching TV. The front door was locked so when I realized it may have been a UFO event, I ran to the front door, opened it and stood on the front steps and looked up at it. At this point it was in the sky over our general street area (but apparently higher up now) and it made a 90 degree turn to the right and was beginning to head out over the bay towards the ocean.

I called out to Mom and told her I believed we had a UFO and she came outside and also witnessed it. We watched it slowly tracking to the southeast towards the beach. I ran inside and got my Olympus C2100 digital camera, hoping to capture a picture before it was gone. I took two photos. The first photo (although not zoomed in) caught the object and it’s light display. The second photo I tried hurriedly to zoom in and pressed the shutter button but it was too dark to see where it was in the viewfinder and unfortunately my zoomed in shot missed it out of frame. I have uploaded the pictures to the computer. I kept the original unedited photo but did make a cropped, close-up second copy to show it better. I will post the photo here shortly.

Some more comments are in order: First, I am a pilot and this object had no navigation lights (such as red/green and white on the tail.) Second, there was no engine sound. Mom thought it may have been a blimp type of craft — but those have turbofan types of motors which are very loud. Third, I pondered whether this was one of those laser lights that establishments use to light the sky through the clouds to attract attention to their business or event. However, I feel this was more like a craft flying than someone pointing a large beam of light in the sky and moving it around. It can’t be a meteorite either because it made a 90 degree turn and was too long an event to be a burn-up in the atmosphere. Fourth, this is my second UFO event on Long Island (about 20 miles away from the other event). The previous event I witnessed occurred in Calverton near the closed military base there. Similarly, we live about 12 miles from an airport with a military base. (I actually learned to fly at this airport.) Fifth, if I was not seeing double vision and it was indeed triangular, perhaps when it turned towards the ocean, I was looking at only one side of it.

Finally, I wanted to say that if this was something special (be it military, otherworldy or even a paranormal/spiritual event) I do feel the timing of my witnessing it was important. Another 20-30 seconds not getting up to go to the window, I would not have witnessed it. Therefore I feel I was connected to this event. Or perhaps I heard them calling me.
