12-10-10 FORT WORTH TEXAS

The sighting occurred over my southern facing home in southwest Fort Worth near Benbrook Lake in the early morning hours at 7:45 AM Central Standard Time on December 10, 2010 (I confirmed the date and time by reviewing my text message to a friend with whom I shared the experience). I was rolling out the garbage bins for Friday morning Pick-up and the triangular shaped craft, with 3 soft glowing well defined lights beneath, was moving very slowly at a diagonal from my right to the left with no sound. I am accustomed to seeing aircraft which originate from or travel toward Carswell, AFB; however, this craft was on a trajectory outside of the usual flight paths I’ve witnessed.

The shape of the craft was distinguishable as a dark silhouette against the background of the early morning sky, and the 3 equally proportioned lights were the dominant feature. At a higher altitude, there was a military fighter aircraft too small to identify, but was still audible. I watched for about 2 minutes, as the craft grew closer and eventually passed directly overhead. I looked to my left and saw a neighbor in the car about 3 houses down; however, this person was not a co-witness. I remained in place and continued to watch. In the time I looked left again, toward my neighbor’s moving car, the craft disappeared in a blink. My initial thought was that in a clear blue sky, I should be able to reacquire the craft, as there was no way a conventional aircraft could have disappeared so suddenly. The sky was cloudless, my view was unobstructed. I was unable to take a picture at that moment, but have discovered a photo that fits the description, the time of day and similar weather conditions under which I witnessed the UFO.

This case is under investigation by MUFON Texas.

07-31-10 LAKE JACKSON TEXAS

During the time of this observation I was driving to the nearest Wal-Mart in Lake Jackson and on my way there I noticed this object in the sky immediately to the north.

The only way I could observe it was with my sunglasses on. At first I thought it was an airplane since we have a local airport in the area, and on occasion we have aircraft do approaches – some as big as 737s.

At first I thought it was an aircraft but like I said, I could only see it with my sunglasses on.

The weather conditions were as followed: clear skies with a temperature of 96 degrees, and a heat index of 102-106.

The object appeared to be on a northern track heading towards Houston. My reaction at first was, “Wow, here we go again.”

I have 11 years of military experience as an Operation Specialist in the U.S. Navy. Part of my training was identifying aircraft, and this to me was no aircraft.

The object remained stationary for a couple of minutes, but like I said it appeared to be on a northerly track.

Saturn’s mysterious hexagon crown lit up as 30-year winter ends.

By Claire Bates

Stunning images of the intriguing hexagon shape crowning Saturn have been captured by Nasa’s Cassini spacecraft.

The hexagon jet stream has flowed around Saturn’s north pole for at least 30 years. The image [above] was captured by the Cassini spacecraft.

Scientists have waited nearly 30 years for the Sun to illuminate the ringed planet’s north pole, which heralds the arrival of spring on Saturn.

It has allowed them to take the most detailed pictures yet of the hexagon phenomenon, which has a diameter wider than two Earths. The images, taken from 475,000 miles away, have revealed concentric circles, curlicues, walls and streamers within the hexagon.

The data will help shed light on space weather and unanswered questions about the same processes on Earth.

The unusual shape is created by a jet stream flowing around the north pole, but scientists are baffled by what causes the hexagon and where it sucks in and expels its energy.

They are also intrigued by how it has managed to stay organised for so long. The last visible-light images of the entire hexagon were captured by Nasa’s Voyager spacecraft nearly 30 years ago, the last time spring began on Saturn.

After the sunlight faded, darkness shrouded the north pole for 15 years. Much to the delight of Cassini scientists, the location and shape of the hexagon in the latest images match up with what they saw in the Voyager pictures.

‘The longevity of the hexagon makes this something special, given that weather on Earth lasts on the order of weeks,’ said Kunio Sayanagi, from the Cassini imaging team at the California Institute of Technology.

‘It’s a mystery on par with the strange weather conditions that give rise to the long-lived Great Red Spot of Jupiter.’ ….  Special thanks to Viewzone.com

CAPRI FLORIDA

The nonprofit Mutual Unidentified Flying Object Network held a packed public town hall on May 11 on Capri, attracting residents and others who have seen strange objects in the sky.

Now a private space-flight group wants to be involved, too.

Gary Hernandez, field investigator with Bigelow Aerospace Advanced Space Studies, is interested in follow-up studies on the Capri UFO reports.

Bigelow Aerospace, which has announced plans to someday enter the private space-flight industry, has expertise in alternative methods of propulsion.

“We have a highly sophisticated system of investigative tools that can help lend insight into strange phenomena such as those seen by the residents in your area,” Hernandez said in a phone conversation on May 13.

Eyewitnesses

“I was down in your area several years ago investigating similar sightings, and would very much like to return and speak with eyewitnesses there now,” Hernandez said.

“I’ll do my best to objectively research and investigate each occurrence and gather as much supporting information to come to a potential conclusion,” Hernandez wrote in an e-mail on May 13.

Hernandez said he did not agree with MUFON’s conclusion that the photo captured by the Isles of Capri Fire/Rescue Department’s webcam was likely the moon setting.

And the photo could not have been of the planet Venus, said Hernandez.

“Although the photo was small, there is no way that the dates, time, and weather conditions would support that conclusion,” Hernandez said.

“On the night of March 27, it was raining sideways, the wind was gusting to 51 mph, and the sky was black,” said Hernandez. “Skies were dark as well for the next two nights.”

Hernandez plans to study the photo further and speak with witnesses to gather additional information.

Morgan Beall, state section director with MUFON, presented his conclusions after talking with eyewitnesses of the strange phenomena that appeared on and around the Isles of Capri from March 27 through early May.   Special thanks to Ufo Casebook , Marco Island Florida.com and Brent Berry Arts.com for the UFO rendering.
